Dubai Shopping Festival – 2006

As usual, Thatta Kedona is participating in Dubai Shopping Festival in 2006. Today (Oct 26, 2005) Dr. Senta Siller and Dr. Norbert Pintsch, senior German volunteer and experts along with people from the TGD are in Dubai.

Greece Connections

Benaki Museum asked Thatta Kedona to provide Kalashi Dolls for visitors of Olympic Games (2004) last year and laid the foundation for cooperation between the two. This year the Museum has asked Thatta Kedona to provide special Greece culture design dolls. Dr. Senta Siller is designing the dolls for which bodies are prepared in the village Thatta Ghulamka Dheroka and clothing in Karachi.

Benaki Museum is planning to launch a new project “Art Cave Crete”. Some of the specimens can be seen in photo stream down the sidebar.
