AeFeA Workshops With Monika Kuppler

Monika Kuppler (on the left in upper image), one of the most dedicated volunteers that had come to TGD for the fourth time – has done a wonderful job during every visit. She conducts pottery workshop with groups of women and starts every time where she had left the previous time. That has resulted in some excellent developments; new products and enhanced skills. What is more, this time clay for pottery was procured from Harappa and Multan.
In addition, Monika had conducted another workshop with paper. Here are some of the glimpses of her work with women from TGD.

Doll Makers' Fourth Summer Acedemy

Thatta Kedona Annual Summer Acedemy was held in Karimabad. Alexandra Scherer - volunteer teacher from Germany trained 5 TGD women from Women Art Center, Basic Health Unit and Cultural Complex in English language and basic techniques (reading, writing, calculation).Since first summer academy held under the supervision of volunteer teacher Jane Carew Reid in Karimabad in 2002, annual summer academy has been one of the regular training features for the workers of Women Art Center. Basic Health Unit, Cultural Complex. Village women are successfully working and learning in WAC since 1993 where dedicated volunteers come and teach. This year following women are attending the summer camp:

- Khanam Shahdad Ali
- Mehraj Mian Khan
- Rani Mir Mohammed
- Mafi Allah Jafar
